Tear strength of 3–12 N, set by dose, for sachets, pouches and lid film.
Typical values for the standard version. Tolerances and test methods are listed in the TDS.
Controlled fibrillation rather than a weak seam. The additive sets how the film tears along the machine direction so the pack opens in one straight line instead of stringing, delaminating or tearing the print.
| Mechanism | Controlled fibrillation |
| Typical dose | 2 – 6 % |
| Tear strength | 3 – 12 N |
| Tear direction | Machine direction, straight |
| Carrier | PE / PP / EVA |
| Seal strength | Unchanged at recommended dose |
Typical values, for reference only — not a specification and not part of any contract. What binds us is the specification confirmed in writing on your order, and where a sample has been approved, that sample governs. Send us your resin, process and target value and we will confirm the exact figure before you set a production parameter.
Common to every grade we make. Where a grade differs — active content, carrier, colour — the difference is stated on its own data sheet.
| Appearance | Free-flowing pellets |
| Active content | 15 – 30 % (grade dependent) |
| Moisture | ≤ 0.10 % |
| Volatiles | ≤ 0.30 % |
| Agglomerates | ≤ 3 per 1,000 g |
| Heat stability | Grade dependent — see grade data sheet |
| Bulk density | 0.55 – 0.75 g/cm³ |
| Packing | 20 kg PE bag · 25 kg on selected grades |
| Shelf life | 12 months, sealed and dry |
The table above describes the grade family. The figures for your lot are on the COA that travels with it, and the release value is measured on that batch.
If your part is not listed, send a drawing or a photo — we have probably run something close.
One clean tear, no powder spill.
Opens without delaminating the print layer.
Tear starts where the notch is, every time.
Grade documents are issued per grade and travel with the lot. ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 are held by our production site, not by the grade.
FOB Ningbo to any port. We can book the vessel and handle the documents if you prefer.
No. The tear path runs beside the seal, not through it. At 4 % the seal strength drop is under 5 % — we still recommend a seal test on your line.
Yes. Below 100 µm use 2–3 %; mono-layer film up to 70 % of the stated dose is enough. Send us the structure and we will set it.
Tell us the resin, the process and the target performance. You get a grade recommendation, a landed cost to your port and a sample plan.
